If you are struggling with your mental health and need urgent support, The Samaritans offer a free 24/7 helpline. Their number is 116 123. Or text SHOUT to 85258.

The helpline number for the charity Anxiety UK is 03444 775 774. They can also be reached via text on 07537 416 905.

If you’d like more information on mental health, including types of mental health problems, your legal rights, and access to more support, the charity Mind has some useful information on their website. They also have an info line, open Monday to Friday 9am- 6pm- call 0300 123 3393 or text 89463.

The Sussex Mental Healthline offers listening support, advice, information and signposting to anyone experiencing difficulties, or who may be in crisis and in urgent need of help, with their mental health. 

The service is free and is available to anyone of any age who is concerned about their own mental health or that of a relative or friend. – call 0300 5000 101 5pm-9am Monday – Friday. Weekends and bank holidays 24 hours.

The helpline CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) is for people in the UK who are down or have hit a wall for any reason- their number is 0800 58 58 58. They are open from 5pm to midnight, every day of the year. Their website is full of useful information and resources.
